Vivienne obtained an economic science honours degree from the University of Wales in 1987. During the past 6 years, she has gained the following qualifications; two diplomas in acupuncture, one diploma in shiatsu therapy, and a certificate in Chinese herbal medicine and patent herbal medicine.
She was taught by both European and Chinese experts in the field, including Professor Shulan Tang of Nanjing University who is one of the few members of the renowned World Federation of Chinese Medicine, specialising in gynaecology. She has completed further study with Professor Shulan Tang, in infertility, menopausal syndrome, menstrual irregularities, morning sickness in pegnancy, the treatment of lung diseases, stress and insomnia, micro acupuncture, scalp acupuncture and skin diseases. She is also a member of the British Acupuncture Council (www.acupuncture.org.uk) and the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine (www.atcm.co.uk).
Chinese Medicine has been used successfuly by the Chinese for thousands of years. It is now becoming more popular in the west. Acupuncture and herbal medicine help the body heal itself by correcting imbalances within the body.

The style of acupuncture treatment used is the same style used in modern Chinese hospitals. The herbs given are in pill or powder form and are very easy and practical to take. There is no need to boil herbs for hours!
